As a lawyer, my late grandfather always had the mantra, “Words Matter.” From news organizations stating that a terrorist “claimed responsibility” for an attack, as if a dirty bomb was nothing more than street graffiti, to things like “the green movement” and “sustainable” which are used as a blanket statement for malicious legislation, he understood that the labels we put on issues can substantially change how we discuss them.

Now, we have another guy who understands. Words Matter.
